About U.M.S.

Urban Music Society is a collective of musicians that share a passion for entertaining and connecting with audiences from all backgrounds through music for the soul. Formed in early 2019, this group already had the chemistry and talent to join forces for the common goal of making people feel good and dance. UMS has been able to connect with so many people by creating an atmosphere of great music and familiarity. We are all here to live in the moment and experience a good time together, much like a family reunion. Music for the soul has been their foundation playing genres such as R&B, Soul, Pop, Jazz, Fusion, and Gospel.

Being a part of any performance from this group will take you down memory lane and also provide some special and spontaneous moments on stage. Whether it is the full ensemble or a smaller variation, UMS can compliment any event or occasion. With so much negativity happening in the world, Urban Music Society strives to give their audiences a musical escape where nothing matters but the groove and energy.

Package Options

“ATMO” PACKAGE

A great option for hosting parties and gatherings with live soothing music playing in the background for added elegance. We are simply an enhancement for occasions like cocktail hour, small dinners events, art shows, etc.(This package is commonly chosen for instrumental music)

Includes: 4 piece band w/ saxophone lead (*a vocalist is optional)

CONCERT PACKAGE

This package comes with the whole “sha-bang”. The ideal option for weddings, corporate events, block parties, or other large gatherings. By being the focal point of your event, we give an amazing and entertaining performance that is sure to have you and your guests making memories on the dance floor.

$5,000 (starting price)

Includes: 11 piece band, a full PA system and backline, and a sound engineer

*All packages require a non-refundable retainer fee of half the negotiated price. Retainer fee is required in order to confirm booking. The remaining amount after retainer has been paid, is due 7 days before date of the event. Please allow 2-3 hours for set up time at your event.
